Tutor Doctor Saskatoon has an opening for an upbeat, passionate, committed, and dynamic tutor who wants to work in a rewarding teaching environment 1-5 hours a week. Our programs offer individual support to students looking to improve their academic skills and study habits.
Candidates must possess a strong background Science, particularly Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Health Science. Please note that a successful candidate will be communicating to parents. Candidates must be available 4pm-8pm, up to 3 times per week.
Tutors who travel from Saskatoon to Martensville or Warman will be paid an additional $5 per hour.
A great candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
Strong English written and oral communication skills
Experience in a teaching environment
Be a dedicated and passionate teacher who thrives on seeing students succeed
Dynamic, upbeat and energetic personality; willing to motivate students
Highly organized, able to multitask and think on your feet
Strong Language Arts skills including spelling and writing
Strong Highschool science skills.
A Bachelor of Education, or currently enrolled in a B.Ed program will be given preference
