Description

Under the general supervision of the YWCA Director of Childcare Services, this position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a 51 space Childcare Centre and a 90 space Childcare Centre in accordance with the Saskatchewan Childcare licensing regulations and the overall philosophy and mission of the YWCA Regina. This position is part of a management team for the YWCA Childcare Department.
Responsibilities:    
1.    Personnel
    Hiring childcare staff;
    Coaching staff on performance;
    Conducting monthly staff meetings;
    Maintain staff schedule and ratios according to the Childcare regulations.

2.    Administration
    Maintain grouping lists and enrolling children/filling spots;
    Registration and orientation for new families;
    Coordinating childcare fee collection and deposits;
    Ensure all staff payroll is accurate on time;
    Keep an accurate and current staff list;
    Ensure shift schedules are filled;
    Review and update policies as assigned by the Director;
    Ensure records and statistics are kept up to date;
    Ensure all receipts for expenses are collected and submitted to finance department;
    Ensure that all actions of the agency are accomplished with an ethical and prudent manner.
