Job Description: As a member of the Mental Health Residential Services Team, this position is responsible for the coordination of the Mental Health Approved Home Program in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members and the Ministry of Health. The purpose of this position is to provide assessment of persons interested in accessing Mental Health Approved Homes, and the recruitment, education and support of Mental Health Approved Home Operators . In addition to this position is responsible and the clinical supervision of Assessor Coordinator staff and other Resdential Services staff. Home complaint investigations and outcome reporting is also coordinated through this position . Under the supervision of the Program Manager for Residential Services this position is responsible for assigning individual supports to persons living in Mental Health Approved Homes; licensing and monitoring Mental Health Approved Homes; providing consultation, referral and conducting research related to the Mental Health Approved Home Program.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Psychiatric Nursing. Eligible for registration in their respective association in the Province of Saskatchewan.
Experience
Two years experience working as an assessor coordinator in the mental health area.
Experience dealing with individuals with psychiatric and concurrent (mental illness and addictions, acquired brain injury, cognitive disability, physical disability etc.) disorders. Psychiatric and Addiction assessment and intervention, and experience working as a member of an interdisciplinary team in a mental health and addictions setting is an asset.
