Kerrobert Daycare is seeking a positive and nurturing candidate to fill the position of Early Childcare Educator.  This will be part-time, temporary position to cover a Maternity leave for a 12 month period.  

Kerrobert Daycare is a licensed 44 space facility.  We operate Monday - Friday, 6:30am-5:30pm.  Kerrobert Daycare provides high quality childcare for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age and follows the Play & Exploration; Early Learning Program.  We also run a Preschool program in house for our 3 - 5 year old friends.
Our ECEs provide high quality care, supervision and guidance to our children by way of independent/structured play and exploration, daily activities & programming.  
The needs of the child are paramount in our facility.  The ECE will be responsible for not only the care of the children by way of team playing but will assist in the planning and preparation of the programming.  A healthy, open, verbal relationship must also be built with our Director and our parent community.

Candidates should possess First Aid / CPR and the ability to receive a clear criminal record check in the vulnerable sector.  Assets include having ECE levels (I, II or III), experience in a childcare setting and the Food Safety certificate.

A valid Class 5 license and a reliable vehicle is an asset due to lack of public transportation and early working hours.
