The successful applicant will join the Manufacturing Department and perform duties such as receiving, inspecting and shipping goods, filling requisitions, picking work orders and putting material away in stores.

Responsibilities:

-Follow steps when receiving goods at the receiving door, including ESD precautions necessary to protect sensitive components
-Ship goods to customers and returns to vendors, including knowledge of good packaging practices
-Stock inventory in stores, including use of the IS system to receive goods from the incoming inspection area and putting them away using the address system
-Inspect incoming material
-Fill requisitions received at the stores window
-Pick kits in a responsible, efficient manner
-Specific SMT area related duties include putting away incoming parts within the SMT area, placing parts on tape and reel, picking parts and putting onto racks, staging racks in preparation for production, cycle counts and stock adjustments

Requirements:

-High School diploma or equivalent
-No experience is required although material handling experience is considered an asset
-Able to follow documented procedures
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Able to work in a face-paced environment with minimal supervision

The ability to meet the requirements outlined in the Canadian Controlled Goods Program is mandatory. All employees are required to apply for and receive a Government Security Clearance.
