Description

Certified Mining & Construction Sales & Rentals is looking for an experienced Shipper Receiver. The Shipper/Receiver performs a variety of tasks and is responsible for shipping/ receiving and recording the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from the organization. This position is deemed safety sensitive and successfully passing a pre-employment drug & alcohol test is a condition of employment.  The Shipper/Receiver must load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment, such as a forklift.  Other responsibilities will include the inspection of incoming shipments to verify contents and quality and assist in the scheduling of freight appointments.  The Shipper/Receiver must understand the impact of this position to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of incoming and outgoing items.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
1.Minimum Grade 12
2.Minimum two years of experience in shipping/receiving, or a similar role.
3.Any safety-related training and certificates would be beneficial but not required (ie. Forklift)
4.Ability to complete waybills and other shipping documentation.
5.Drivers license required.
6.Knowledge of rigging equipment/mining equipment is an asset.
