David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit an AP Clerk into a temporary position starting immediately.
We are currently looking for a candidate with experience in accounts payable to join a highly specialized team.
The Role:
Process invoices in an efficient and timely manner
Input accurate AP data into an accounting system
Monitor card activity for company compliance or needed updates
Ensure expense reports are compliant with company policy
Communicate promptly and professionally with suppliers regarding the status of invoices, cheque requests and utility payments
Research open items through SAP/Oracle, AP Imaging/Readsoft and other accounting systems
The Ideal Candidate:
At least 3 years dedicated A/P experience in a comparable position, preferably within a large organization
Associate degree or higher in Accounting or Business preferred
Ability to pick up new financial software quickly
The successful individual will have an eye for detail and be able to perform duties accurately within given time constraints. Professionalism, teamwork, and customer service skills are absolute musts!!
