Description

Brandt has a position available for a Product Planner  Tillage.  Were looking for an individual who has a passion for soil management and understands the agronomic impacts effective tillage tools can play as part of a crop production system.  Effective product planning requires a humble curiosity, and the desire to fully understand market and customer dynamics. This is a unique, ground floor opportunity to shape the vision for Brandts products for years to come.

Duties:
Collect, Analyze and Interpret Market Data from brochures, websites, dealers, customers, trade shows and industry publications
Understand industry trends, customer and dealer needs
Identify current product gaps, weaknesses
Develop and pitch ideas for new products and model updates across the product line
Develop longer term R&D plan for product line
Plan and help deliver Product Training during the launch of new products.

Required Experience:
We want a candidate who has experience in the Agricultural tillage industry and/or an agronomy background focusing on soil management.  The ideal candidate will have:
A passion for equipment and the ability to articulate customer needs.
Experience in the following areas  direct use of the product, sales, design, customer support or manufacturing.
Designation of Professional Agrologist (P.AG) is preferred.
Excellent organization & communication skills  written and verbal.
The ability to work with all levels and departments in the organization.
An understanding of business and product financial metrics.
The ability to travel 1 week per month when necessary.
