The City of Weyburn is a multifaceted organization employing much of the local public in a variety of meaningful careers. The City strives to be an engaged and diverse employer with approximately 105 employees, increasing to over 130 during summer months.

The City of Weyburn Leisure Services Department is offering an exciting summer employment opportunity for three (3) students. Program Leaders are key components to the Leisure Services Department as they ensure that the day to day operations of the Fun in the Sun Inclusive Day Camp run efficiently and that the safety of the participants is maintained.

Responsibilities:
- Work in conjunction with other Program Leaders to plan, co-ordinate and facilitate quality of sport, culture and recreation activities for the Fun in the Sun Inclusive Day Camp;
- Apply the High Five principals for healthy child development to the Fun in the Sun program;
- Ensure that all activities are designed and facilitated to meet the needs and abilities of the participants;
- Adhere to and interpret staff policies, practices and procedures of the Fun in the Sun Inclusive Day Camp;
- Help all children 6-12 years of age develop intellectually, socially, physically and emotionally by creating opportunities for planned and spontaneous play;
- Act as a positive role model at all times; and
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Students hired must be at least 15 years of age, enrolled as a student at a secondary or post-secondary school or institution.
