Restorex Disaster Restoration is a COR certified company who provides property restoration for residential, commercial and industrial clients. We specialize in emergency services for water, fire and smoke, and sewer restoration. Our emergency team is on call 24 hours a day.
We are looking for safety minded individuals to join our emergency team, who are highly motivated, with a strong desire to learn, and excel in a fast paced environment. Preference will be given to candidates who are willing to work extended hours. We will train the ideal candidate if necessary.
*A Clean Criminal Record and a valid driver's license are required to be considered for employment*
Job Duties include:
- Ensure company policies and procedures, including health and safety, are being followed
- Extract water from flooded properties
- Perform controlled demolition of wet building materials
- Set up drying equipment on site
- On site cleaning and content manipulation
- Asbestos abatement following company policies and safety legislation
- List and pack out affected contents
- Follow an on call rotation after probation
- Accept direction from Foremen and senior co-workers
- Daily communication with Foremen and Management
- Maintain clean job site and equipment at all times
- Perform general labour on job sites and warehouse as needed
Skills & Abilities
- Positive and professional attitude
- Work in a team environment
- Physically fit
- Safety conscience and able to wear provided PPE
- Construction experience considered an asset
Conditions of Employment
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean Criminal Record and Driver's Abstract
- Grade 12 education, or equivalent
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written
