EVRAZ Wasco Pipe Protection Corporation (EWPPC) is a joint venture between EVRAZ NA and Wasco Energy.  We supply world class protective coatings on the petroleum and natural gas pipes that EVRAZ NA manufactures here in Regina, SK.  We are currently looking for an IT Generalist to join our team.  
Reporting to the Quality Manager our IT Generalist will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of the companys computer hardware, network systems and software applications.  They will work closely with, and be mentored by our System Support Analyst.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
    Maintain companys IT hardware in good working order at all times
    Provide technical support and training for end users on system & software applications Provide user manuals and conduct PCMS training to the workforce
    Ensure data is backed up and kept secure in a timely manner
    Ensure all software applications are covered by legal licences and that updates are applied in a timely manner.
    Ensure that the requirements for Hardware upgrades are brought to the attention of the Quality Manager

Qualifications
    Certificate, diploma or degree in Information Technology or related discipline
    Minimum 2 years practical experience in an IT role
    Experience in Windows Server Update Services is an asset
    Experience in Active Directory is an asset
    Experience with Cisco Switches and Fortigate Firewall is an asset
    Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
    Detailed & excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
    Prior experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment is an asset
