Description

Duties:
    Operates and maintains Wastewater Treatment Plant with Class 3 Wastewater Treatment Certification
    Follows regulations stipulated by the Water Security Agency under our permit to operate regarding the treatment and disposal of wastewater.
    Identifies malfunctions in equipment and systems operations and arranges for repairs
    Completes laboratory analysis and computer controlled operations
    Samples and tests wastewater quality
    Cleans all treatment and storage facilities and maintains grounds around sites  
    Maintains records such as detailed work performed, equipment installed, problems encountered, resources used, and repairs made.  
    Assists with the development of Business Division procedures
    Assists associate staff members with Business Division records, bylaws, policies and procedures
    Mentor and assist with on the job training of new employees as directed

Education
    Grade 12 or GED Equivalent
    Minimum of two years of post-secondary education or trade qualification in a field recognized by the Operators Certification Board for certification in Water & Wastewater industries.
    Wastewater Treatment Class 3
    Valid Class 5 Drivers License
    Basic Computer and Microsoft Office Proficiency

Experience and Additional Requirements
    1 year of relevant work experience
    Valid Class 1A Drivers License is considered an asset for solid dumps
