Are you a mechanic, or very mechanically inclined?
Do you have a passion for food production and agriculture?
Does being a part of a very progressive and strategic farming operation excite you?
If yes, join Levee Farms Joint Venture (LFJV) as a Farm Team Member.
Although focused on mechanics, the Farm Team Members work is multi-faceted and requires cross training in many of the areas of LFJV including farm machine operations, truck/semi driving, building maintenance, yard maintenance, basic carpentry, truck driving, and handyperson work. The work of the Farm Team Member, as with all roles at LFJV, will differ and be dependent on the season.
A willingness to learn and listening skills are essential for the Farm Team Member as LFJV is a very progressive operation that is continually changing and improving while investing in training for their staff. They must have strong communication skills to ensure proper coordination between the team occurs and the ability to multi-task and juggle priorities is also important. The Farm Team Member will have a strong mechanical inclination, can drive a semi and must be willing to work as a team in all facets of the job. Common sense, time management, problem solving, and a genuine interest in agriculture and growing things are also requirements of the Farm Team Member.
The best Farm Team Member is punctual and a motived self-starter  they see the things that need to be done and do them. They also take great pride in any work that they do and approach agriculture and their job with a keen interest and desire to learn. They are intelligent, mechanically inclined, and share the same passion for agriculture and food production as the rest of the LFJV team.
A class 1A drivers license is preferred. The ability and desire to work in agriculture as well as general knowledge of farming and agricultural equipment technology is required.
