The Rural Municipality of Tramping Lake No. 380 invites applications for a qualified Administrator or Administrative Trainee due to the retirement of the current administrator. The approximate start date will be July 1, 2020, depending on the experience of the successful applicant and the amount of on-the-job training required.
The municipal office is located in Scott, Saskatchewan approximately 4 kilometres south off of Highway #14 between Unity and Wilkie.
The Administrator reports directly to Council and works co-operatively with Council in all operations of the municipality and in accordance with the policies and bylaws established by Council and by provincial legislation. The Administrator also works closely with the municipal foreman and other outside employees.
Qualified Administrators who apply must possess the following:
1. Rural Class C (or higher) Certificate in Local Government Administration but other combinations of experience and education will be considered.
2. Experience with budgeting, financial operations, assessment, taxation and general office management.
3. Experience with the Munisoft computer system.
4. Management, communication and organizational skills.
Administrative Trainees who apply must be willing to complete or have completed the University of Reginas Local Government Administration Program.
This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary in accordance with the SARM Suggested Salary Schedule along with a comprehensive benefits package and a pension plan.
