Description

Butterfield Bison Ranch is seeking an experienced Ranch Hand for a full time, year-round opportunity. As the Ranch Hand, you would be responsible for operating various types of farm equipment, care and treatment of bison and horses, ranch infrastructure establishment and maintenance, hauling livestock, and other projects as required.

Equipment operation and maintenance experience will be considered a strong asset in addition to knowledge of animal health, feedlot operations, feeding and forage, fencing, and knowledge of the general industry.

A strong work ethic and the ability to take direction, problem-solve and communicate well are essential to being successful in this job. This position will involve mostly outdoor work year round.

Additionally, pasture riding and horse training skills would be a great asset and a horse or horse boarding can be provided

Accommodations and salary are open to negotiation and starting salary will commensurate with level of experience and knowledge.
