FULL TIME POSITION
Operations & Maintenance 1 - CUSTODIAN

Job Purpose
The custodian will take care of various Town facilities and carry out cleaning duties. The goal is to keep our buildings in a clean, orderly, and maintained condition.  Hours will vary depending on facility bookings.

Duties and Responsibilities
Clean and maintain various Town facilities (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc).
Notify management of occurring deficiencies, maintenance issues, and needs for repairs.
General yard maintenance and beautification (watering trees and flowers, weeding, etc).
Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
Follow all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications
Previous experience in custodial work is preferred.
Close attention to detail and sense of discipline.
Self motivated.
Commitment to safe work practices.

Salary Rate: As per Union Agreement
