Newcart Contracting 1993 Ltd. is a Lloydminster, SK based company with Industrial Maintenance, Turnaround, and Construction activities ongoing throughout Western Canada.
We are currently accepting resumes with copies of valid safety tickets for a Non-Ticketed Worker/General Labourer. (1st year apprentices will be considered)
REQUIREMENTS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is based out of Lloydminster, SK therefore the successful candidate must reside in Lloydminster and surrounding area or be willing to relocate
Capable to work with heavy materials & loads
Competent to operate equipment with a valid license
Skilled in the operation and safe use of tools (hand, power, hydraulic)
Responsible to keep tools and equipment in safe working order
Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to take direction from foreman and work independently or with groups as required
Ability to prioritize duties
Willingness to work overtime/holidays as required
Ability to identify and report all hazards & unsafe work conditions to supervisor
Capable in doing general site cleanup
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE ON THE FOLLOWING SAFETY SKILLS WOULD BE AN ASSET:
Man Watch
Bottle Watch
Confine Space Entry
Fire/Spark Watch
Work at heights
Safety Procedures
