SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER at Keethanow Elementary School, Stanley Mission, Saskatchewan

Stanley Mission is a thriving Woodland Cree community on the shores of the Churchill River. The community has two grocery stores, gas bars, post office, restaurant, churches and medical clinic. Views of the river and historic Holy Trinity Anglican Church add to the beauty and history of the community. The scenic environment surrounding Stanley Mission offers a variety of outdoor recreational activities and has an indoor hockey arena, baseball diamond and Youth Community Centre with pool tables and a bowling alley. Stanley Mission is just north of La Ronge and accessibly by year  round provincial road.

Keethanow Elementary School provides educational programming for students in Pre-Kindergarten-  grade 6 in a modern, well-equipped facility with an enrolment of approximately 320 students and 44 staff.

This is a continuing, full-time position to start August 26, 2019. The successful candidate must be eligible for Saskatchewan teaching certification. Salary is according to the provincial salary grid plus a benefits package that includes subsidized housing and a northern living allowance. Moving assistance may be available.
