Description

We are looking for passionate and outgoing individual to lead our recreation programs for the season. This position reports to the Manager and plays an integral role in helping shape and deliver our new recreation programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Lead high quality recreation programs at a specified program location
    Ensure participants are fully engaged and having fun in a safe environment
    Implement and follow program plans as outlined by park management & board committees
    Assisting with creating park calendars and program plans
    Maintain daily records of attendance, accident reports, injuries and safety checks
    Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a positive and professional attitude when communicating with participants, parents, and coworkers
    Work with management team to ensure program supply needs are correct & purchased in a timely manner
    Ensure that equipment and facilities are in safe working condition and report any concerns to resort management
    Promote and market programs and activities
    Ensure communication of program literature is distributed in a timely manner (newsletters, social media etc.)
    Perform other related duties as assigned by the Park Manager
    Plan and orchestrate crafts and activities to be approved by the Park Manager
    Implement Kids Club, sport, family, and some adult programs
    Ensure that there is a wide range of sport and recreational opportunities provided for guests
    Monitor supplies and equipment and report any issues to Resort Manager
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
    1 year of working in a recreational and social programming setting is an asset but not mandatory
    Energy and enthusiasm
    Demonstrate great communication, high energy, charisma and continued positive attitude
    Excellent oral communication skills
    Must have own transportation
    Must have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) that is less than 12 months old
    CPR/First Aid
