System Alignment Lead, Continuous Process Improvement

Reporting directly to the Director, Continuous Process Improvement. The System Alignment Lead serves as the lead for the development and implementation of the supportive infrastructure for strategic planning, the WCB cascading visual management and performance review systems. The position serves as a liaison between the Business Transformation Office (BTO), business units and senior leaders to direct scheduling and support of strategic planning events and the development of linked visual management systems, ensuring consistency of practice in application of methodology and tools. The role serves to coordinate and ensure the rigorous application of Strategy Deployment planning concepts, tools and methodologies to support achievement of organizational goals.
The organizational scope of this position is broad and deep, extending across all divisions and departments and the influence of this position and the area of responsibility is felt from front line staff to executive leaders.
The position must serve as a change agent and lead through influence rather than line authority. They are accountable for the successful results and outcomes generated through the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Qualifications:
The following Education, Experience, Designations/Licenses and Behavioral & Technical Qualifications (Competencies) are job requirements:
Bachelors degree and at least 5 years experience responsible for the development and implementation of corporate-wide strategic planning in alignment with continuous improvement systems.
Strong facilitation, team management/building and change management skills.
Certification in CPI (Lean, Six Sigma) or other process improvement approaches is an asset. Proven demonstration is required of self-driven professional development in this area.
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
