Main Duties:
Monitor and assist with all product departures. Monitor and assist with the transfer of product to armored vehicles to prevent theft and ensure safe delivery.
Monitor Company security system and alarm system and investigate disturbances.
Monitor vehicle traffic (coming and going) from site.
Respond to emergency situations.
Circulate among visitors, patrons and employees to preserve order and protect property. Deal with any unsuspecting or difficult visitors/persons at ZYUS as well as any inappropriate or difficult phone calls.
Ensure safe and authorized entrance of staff and management to designated area/building.
Report incidents to the Director of Corporate Security (DCS) and conduct investigations as required.
Conduct personnel security clearances and criminal record checks.
Generate security profiles and control access cards to facilities.
Act on behalf of the Director of Corporate Security in their absence.
Conduct security audits and identify methods to improve processes.
Network with law enforcement and government personnel during incidents and reporting.
Hire, train and supervise other security assets.

This work is performed in a typical office environment and is generally on-call, as required, in the event of a security violation, incident or a response to Company alarms. The ability to monitor the security system 24/7 is required.
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally (including a current, valid passport and driver's license).
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years experience in law enforcement with demonstrated conflict resolution skills, interpersonal, and communications skills or related training deemed to meet job requirements.
Must be able to be security cleared under the Cannabis Regulations.
Membership / accreditation in ASIS International is an asset.
