CAD/CAM ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIST
The Lean Machine engineering team is looking for a CAD/CAM Technologist.   We are Saskatoons premier manufacturing facility offering services in steel and aluminum cutting, bending and welding (both manual and automated robotic), 3-axis and 5-axis machining, metal turning and 3D printing.
We are looking for a diligent problem solver.   Within our organization, you will have an enormous opportunity to grow far beyond your expectations.   An effective machinist looking to move into a design position would be a great fit for this position.
Responsibilities:
Manage customer design requests with a rigorous focus on manufacturability
Work collaboratively on new and revised products from concept to execution
Focus on developing and refining ironclad in and out of office processes that ensure quality
Program CNC cutting machines, optimizing for cycle speed and efficiency


Qualifications:
A desire to continuously improve and learn with a consistently positive attitude
A high degree of focus and the capability of paying close attention to detail
The patience to handle continuously changing demands
Spatial ability and the need to use CAD and other computer software to the ultimate degree
Competent interpersonal skills including written and verbal English
