As a Data Scientist, youll be supporting the organization with insights gained from analyzing company data. The banking industry is quickly evolving with innovative technology, and we want employees who are eager to help us reach the next level.

The role
- Participate in all aspects of the data science project lifecycle
- Drive business results with data-based insights
- Search for and identify opportunities where data science can be used to provide solutions for stakeholders and members
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to key decision makers

Skills needed to be successful in this role
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field (data science, computer sciences, statistics, mathematics, etc.)
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Programming skills in Python, R, or similar
- Deep knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, data mining, and predictive modeling
- Experience with implementing solutions on one or more cloud-based platforms such as Azure, GCP, AWS, etc.
- Ability to explain data to end users using data visualization, storytelling and dashboarding tools (Python stack, Power BI, etc.)
- An understanding of the financial services industry would be an asset
