The IT Division of the Ministry of Central Services provides a full range of technology projects and services to the Government of Saskatchewan.
Under the leadership of the Applications Management Services (AMS) Executive Director, this position will provide guidance and leadership in planning and implementing services. Working with cross-functional management teams, project teams, technology groups, business and technical architects, technology suppliers and other stakeholders, you will develop the roadmap including recommendations on the processes and technologies.
The Director will be responsible for effectively supporting and maintaining the portfolio of applications, application architecture and for providing leadership for the AMS staff while ensuring delivery of business value.
As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate strong leadership and problem solving skills in order to define and deliver services to suit the many needs of our client ministries.
Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be obtained through a computer science degree with a Masters of Business Administration or a combination of related education and experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar role will also be considered.
