The Position:

The successful applicant will join one of our project teams developing software for systems that include:
- Real-time equipment control;
- Complex proprietary communication protocols;
- High-availability/scalable architectures; and
- Graphical user interfaces featuring sophisticated real-time updates and complex data visualizations.

SED Software Developers experience all phases of the software development lifecycle, including the installation of systems to sites located around the world. Developers are regularly tasked with solving complex, challenging problems and succeed through continual learning and the application of modern, proven technologies.

Requirements:
- A four-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a three-year Computer Science degree combined with an Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics degree;
- A minimum of 1 year experience developing software;
- Proficiency in C++ or Java; and
- The ability to integrate well into a team environment, quickly solve complex problems and easily adapt to new technologies.
