Facility: COMMUNITY HEALTH (MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES)
Job Description: The incumbent will provide Mental Health clinical services to a primarily child and adolescent population. These services will be delivered through a combination of direct services, consultation, community resource development and education.

The Social Worker, BSW reports directly to the Supervisor of Child and Youth Services, or his/her designate.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
One-year post-graduate work in Child & Youth is desired, preferably in a Mental Health setting.  Experience with, and understanding of Mental Health Programs is desirable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to travel on a daily basis and have access to a reliable vehicle
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning
A demonstrated ability to meet and work with clients, utilizing sound judgment, tact, initiative and high standards of integrity and responsibility
Ability to collect, record and report comprehensive client information accurately in verbal, written and electronic formats in accordance with professional standards and guidelines
Proficient in computer software (Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, Outlook)
Demonstrated ability to perceive and analyze problems, develop alternatives, and effect innovative solutions
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines an
