Facility: ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL OF ESTEVAN
Job Description: The Staff Pharmacist is directly accountable to the Manager of Pharmacy Services for assisting in the provision of quality, clinically orientated Pharmacy services which includes the procurement, distribution and control of all drugs and related items used in St. Joseph's Hospital, and for assisting in supplying a certain level of Pharmacy services to various other agencies and facilities.
Required Qualifications

Baccalaureate in pharmacy and licensed or eligible for licensure with the Saskatchewan Pharmacy Association
Experience
Graduated from a recognized School of Pharmacy.  Eligible for Licensure to practice in the Province of Saskatchewan.  Experience preferable.  Demonstrates leadership qualities and organizational ability.  Involvement in Professional Organization.  Demonstrates written and verbal communication.  Proven to work independently.  Dedicated to continuous professional development.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, sound judgment and integrity
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
Commitment to continuing professional development

  
The successful candidate is responsible to obtain and provide an original Criminal Record Check (CRC) & Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) from their local police service, RCMP or previous country/countries of residence that is dated within the past six (6) months that is satisfactory to the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Internal candidates may be required to provide a CRC & VSC during recruitment and selection process.
