Responsibilities
The General Manager/Head Professional will oversee the day-to-day operation of the golf course
Exhibit exception interpersonal skills with customers
Promotion of the club thru various avenues
Oversee merchandising, pricing and inventory control
Conduct private lessons and develop and manage the Junior golf program
Hire, train and supervise pro shop staff
Work with board of directors to develop long term strategic plans
Develop and implement an annual budget with the board of directors
Plan and implement programs to increase membership growth, greens fee revenue, and on course sponsorships
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in the golf operations, including supervision of staff
Degree/diploma in either PGM or business management
PGA of Canada Class A Professional
Positive, professional attitude and a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Strong Managerial skills
Strong customer service skills
Proven ability to grow and develop a service focused team
Proven marketing capability with a drive to exceed expectations
Ability to deal with multiple priorities
