Description

Under the direction of the Administrative Coordinator and working with the Facility Specialist, these positions (2) are responsible for the safe maintenance of camp property, grounds, janitorial and laundry duties. Specific duties may be divided as skill and interest permits.

Duties include:
-  Participate in all aspects of yard maintenance, camp laundry, janitorial and minor maintenance duties.
-  Assist in camper arrival and departure tasks as requested (moving luggage, etc.).
-  Assist with preparation and maintenance of program areas.
-  Maintain a high standard of cleanliness ensuring all shop and equipment areas are kept safe and clean.
-  Participate in other duties that support the function of the camp property and as assigned by the Facility Specialist.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:
-  Must have some experience in maintenance, grounds keeping and/or janitorial duties.
-  Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and be a team player.
-  Ability to work in all types of environments, independently and with minimal supervision.
-  Ability to work in a busy environment and manage lifting, standing, and carrying objects.
-  WHIMIS training is an asset.
-  Experience with vehicle, boat and tractor operation and maintenance is an asset.

Final Candidates are required to provide satisfactory criminal record checks including a vulnerable sector search.

Availability:     Available to work, on site, May 19 to August 22, 2020. Camp is located at Manitou Beach, SK; Transportation to and from site is the personal responsibility of successful candidate.

Approximately 55 hours per week.  Room and board included
