The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association exists to support and encourage foster families through education and advocacy, helping create healthy homes, positive environments, and brighter futures for children and youth in care across the province. We are currently seeking a Domestic Support Worker to support a family in Shelbrook part time.
This diverse position performs many tasks that include, but are not limited to laundry, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, organizing, bathrooms, appliance cleaning, walls, meal preparation and any other household duties as assigned.
The successful applicant will be flexible in order to successfully meet the changing demands in the workplace. The chosen applicant will also be confident, self-motivated and an individual who demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and who is courteous and attentive to detail.
Qualifications:
Cleaning experience is a must
Demonstrate and practice a healthy lifestyle
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with children and supervisors while maintaining strict confidentiality and appropriate boundaries
Ability to express ideas and concepts effectively in an oral and written form
Criminal records Check (Within 3 Months)
Must be 18 years of age
Wage for this position is $14.00 per hour. Shifts will be Monday-Friday afternoon/evenings 15-20 hours/week.
