Job Description: This position reports to the Director of Care - Herb Bassett Home.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
DIRECTLY RELATED EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING IN A MENTAL HEALTH CLINICAL SETTING WITH A WIDE RANGE OF CLIENTS LIVING WITH PSYCHIATRIC, RELATIONAL AND ADJUSTMENT DISORDERS.  EXPERIENCE IN DELIVERING GROUP-BASED TREATMENTS AN ASSET.

Counseling skills and knowledge base as it pertains to Social Work modalities of group work and individual therapy.

Clincal skills training and knowledge of treating mood disorders; generalized anxiety and phobias, theroies of trauma and abuse.

Knowledge of the Mental Helth Services Act and Regulations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Counseling skills
Knowledge of human behaviour, group dynamics and the mental health needs of adults

112 hours of work in a 3 week rotation.

Shifts (days, evenings, nights) including actual hours, date of commencement and temporary end dates are for informational purpose only and may be subject to change.

Successful applicant must provide a satisfactory valid Criminal Record Check including vulnerable sector query before an Offer of Employment is made.
