The Saskatchewan First Nations Family and Community Institute Inc. The Researcher reports to the Director of Programs and will conduct research in areas related to the service of children, youth and families and or any other special projects led by the Saskatchewan First Nations Family and Community Institute. They will develop programs of research and work in partnership to plan projects, including establishing advisory committees, determining appropriate methods, conducting both quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and preparing publishable papers, reports and materials on the findings of research. These findings may be used for the development of standards, policies, training and or recommendations for SFNFCI stakeholders or interested parties.
This position will focus on developing key components of capacity building for research at SFNFCI including the development, revision and updating research protocols and policies. The Researcher is expected to play an important role in focusing the efforts of research to meet the vision and strategic plans of SFNFCI.
