Our client is a Canadian-owned and operated food and ingredients company seeking a Maintenance Operator in their Sedley facility.

Job duties include receiving, processing, handling, and shipping specialty crops, maintaining and servicing equipment, doing minor equipment installations and repairs, and performing labour duties in and around the facility.

Applicants must be mechanically inclined and able to repair equipment and do minor installations as well as operate processing equipment. A background in agriculture and/or experience operating cleaning equipment is preferred. A class 5 license is required and forklift certification is an asset (or willingness to be trained). Candidates must be able to lift and stack bags up to 50 lbs. This is a night shift position 4 pm - 12 midnight with some rotating day shifts.
