Weyburn is a thriving prairie city nestled in the southeast corner of Saskatchewan and a dynamic community providing exceptional quality and opportunities for its residents and visitors. The City of Weyburn is a multifaceted organization employing much of the local public in a variety of meaningful careers. The City strives to be an engaged and diverse employer with approximately 105 employees, increasing to over 130 during summer months.

The City of Weyburn is currently accepting applications for temporary full-time employment as a Recreation Worker with primary focus being the operations and maintenance of Jubilee Park and Don Mitchell Park for the upcoming summer season.

Responsibilities:
- Performing landscape maintenance to parks; sports fields, courts; and other outdoor leisure services facilities and equipment.
- Employees will be able (or trained) to operate parks related equipment such as riding mower; push mowers; trimming tools; and other various equipment as required.
- Employees must be able to deal politely and effectively with fellow staff and the general public
- Some evening and weekend work required to assist local facility user groups during special events / sporting events.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Class 5 Drivers license.
