Description

The Clinical Director is responsible for ensuring that programs and services meet TRCs mandate and accepted standard practices in treatment and recovery. The right candidate supports a team of professionals and paraprofessionals to deliver quality services to clients while building relationships with broader communities.

The Clinical Director is responsible for the oversight and strategic direction of clinical and therapeutic programming, the development of the teams and ensuring soundness in the care TRC provides. The Clinical Director is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and reports directly to the CEO.


Responsibilities and Duties:
    Oversees the operational, financial, clinical, and regulatory direction of mental health and addiction treatment and family support programs.
    Program Development and Management
    Administration
    Staff Management and Relations

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
    Masters Degree from an accredited post-secondary institution in Social Work or Psychology and registered in good standing with the appropriate professional licensing body.
    Clinical Supervision certification or willingness to obtain.
    Clinical leadership experience with addiction, mental health and recovery.
    Knowledge of interviewing and psychological evaluation skills.
    Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) would be considered an asset.
    Ability to accept feedback positively and implement recommended improvements as appropriate.
    Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills.
    Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, set priorities and deal diplomatically with difficult individuals.
    Adherence to the highest ethical standards is essential.
    Strong computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office Suite.
    Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector checks.
