Description

The Resort Village of Candle Lake is seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented person to be seek appointment as a full time Special Constable/Peace Officer.

Qualifications include:  
    Valid Class 5 Drivers License
    Ability to build and maintain positive professional working relationships and strong interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work shift work including evenings and weekends if required
    Ability to work both indoor or outdoor
    Physically capable of performing a wide variety of physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office
    Clean Reliability Security Clearance
    Successful completion of Physical Abilities Evaluation Test (PARE) or the Sheriffs Officer Abilities Test (SOPAT)  in under 4:45.
    Certification or willing to obtain: Baton and OC Spray certification, Radar and EVOC, Heavy Vehicle Weight Certification, Conflict Resolution, First Aid and
    Other training as may be required to meeting appointment standards in Police Act of Saskatchewan to qualify for Special Constable appointment by the Department of Justice
    Previous experience in bylaw enforcement and/or animal control considered an asset.
