Job Description: The Manager of KidsFirst North Battleford is accountable for the provision of the KidsFirst program in the targeted area of North Battleford by effectively and efficiently developing, maintaining and delivering such services to residents and families. The Manager reports to the KidsFirst North Battleford management committee regardingprogram decisions. This position reports administratively to the Director of Primary Health Care; the incumbent plays an important role in the development and standardization of services, policies and procedures within the area served by KidsFirst North Battleford.

Required Qualifications:
A recognized degree in a Human Services discipline at the Masters or Bachelor's level.
Knowledge of early childhood development, community development, human services and self-directed team approach to management.
Knowledge of general health administration including primary health, community development and intersectoral practices, policies and procedures.
Ability to manage large complex region services with an emphasis on the integration across the continuum.
Ability to work with other department, non-government organizations, government, First Nations and other health regions.
Ability to evaluate the effectiveness and to affect change to region programs and priorities.
Ability to prepare an annual budget, prioritizing yearly needs.

Experience:
Experience in working for or with community-based organizations (CBOs).
Experience in contract writing and reporting.
Experience in supervision and/or management.

Geographic Location: North Battleford
Expected Start Date: March 23, 2020
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: In a 1 week rotation: 5 shifts of 7.50 hours
