Description

Can-Seed Equipment Ltd. is looking for a professional and highly motivated individual to join their team.  This individual must possess exceptional time management skills, strong attention to detail, and someone who can exceed in a fast-past work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all accounting functions using the newest version of QuickBooks and SalesForce.
Provide prompt and accurate bookkeeping with regards to accounts receivable and accounts payable entries, invoicing, bank and credit card reconciliations
Process, record, update, and reconcile various financial documents
Cross reference incoming invoices to purchase orders
Ensure that receivables are collected promptly
Respond to inquiries with regards to invoices, payments, and payment arrangements
Resolve account discrepancies
Respond to vendor invoices
Ensure that all payments are made in a timely manner
Deliver all year end financials accurately and on time
Enter inventory adjustments and locations accurately     
Follow accounting policies and procedures
Handle seasonal increases in work load and work under specific deadlines

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:    
Education and Experience:
QuickBooks accounting software experience would be considered an asset.
SalesForce experience would be considered an asset.
University degree in accounting would be considered an asset but not necessary.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills.
A team player with effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
