Description

Pineland Co-op is currently recruiting for a full-time Maintenance/ Septic Driver/ Petroleum Driver.  

Duties:
    Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operatives vision, mission, values, brand, and focus on safety
    Maintain a neat, clean and orderly truck at all times
    Have a good understanding of septic truck operations, lagoon requirements, and associated environmental legislation; this position is responsible for handling all residential, commercial and emergency septic pump out services and disposal of such waste as per environmental, governmental and company regulations
    Complete daily paperwork and review for accuracy prior to submission for billing; complete septic service log sheets as per company policy
    Assist with the weekly pump maintenance schedule including environmental checklists and cardlock site repair and maintenance
    Perform Bulk Fuel Deliveries as assigned
    Maintain the HVAC systems in the Association facilities
    Maintain electrical, plumbing and other mechanical systems
    Perform ground maintenance including picking up of trash and debris, caring for plants and flowers, maintenance of cigarette disposals
    Be familiar with and adhere to Pineland Co-op Policies and Procedures
    Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:           
    Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred; plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems and landscaping experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
    Must be well organized and capable of working unsupervised
    Minimum class 5 driver's license with willingness to obtain "A" endorsement; class 1A or 3A an asset; manual transmission experience is required
    Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
    Must be willing to wear all required PPE
