Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC), one of Saskatchewans Top Employers, is currently seeking a contract administrator in its Environment and Biotech Division to administer multiple contracts for Project CLEANS (Cleanup of Abandoned Northern Sites). This is a multi-year, multimillion-dollar project for the assessment and remediation of abandoned uranium mine sites in northern Saskatchewan.
Accountabilities
Comprehend and interpret all details of each contract (specifically around the construction process); administer and execute contract conditions
Review, monitor and report on project schedules
Track work progress and completions, provide direction for intermittent progress payments, and monitor hold back requests and statutory declarations
Monitor daily progress reports and change orders, validate against terms of the contractual agreements; respond and take action as appropriate
Proactively identify and monitor operational and contractual issues to minimize potential impact; inform and update the project management team
Qualifications
Five or more years of relevant experience in contract administration related to construction or remediation
Demonstrated experience in contract administration for large-scale projects
Detailed knowledge of principles and concepts in contract administration and standard documentation, produced by the Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC)
Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA) is preferred

Critical thinking, attention to detail and excellent organization and time management skills
