Job Description: The PRAMS Program of Saskatchewan is a provincial program of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and is associated with the SHA programs of Maternal and Children's Provincial Programs and SaskBlood. The PRAMS program's focus is the prevention and management of health problems caused by Rh and other blood group antibodies.

The Rh Program Coordinator manages the provincial Rh and other red blood cell and platelet antibody surveillance and Rh alloimmunization prevention program.

Successful management of the Rh Program greatly reduces the occurrence of alloimmunization and the associated adverse outcomes for the fetus.  For fetuses whose health is compromised, the Rh Program staff support the care providers planning and delivering treatment.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Current successful completion of a CPR Level-C Healthcare Provider within the last 12 months
Experience
Proven communication (both verbal & written) and interpersonal skills required.
Demonstrated ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment required.
Demonstrated organization, time management and prioritization skills required.
Proven independent problem solving and decision making skills required.
Experience in clinical teaching an asset.
Experience in high-risk antenatal care an asset.
Demonstrated sound knowledge of Family Centred Care preferred.
Experience in a role with provincial scope an asset.
Additional training will be required and supported for successful candidates.  
Preferred electronic medical record, quality improvement and safety experience.
