Adecco is currently recruiting a Payroll Officer to work within Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. We are looking for a reliable individual who has a minimum of 2-3 years of payroll experience.
Payroll Officer Responsibilities:
- Required to work with different professionals at all levels of the organization
- Perform daily payroll department operations
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
- Understand and ensure compliance for taxation as required by the Canada Revenue Agency
- Ability to prepare a Record of Employment and Workers Compensation Board
- Filing Service Canada Business Payroll Surveys, Garnishment compliance Prepare and file year end T4, T4A, and NR4 slips
- Reconcile and analyze payroll general ledger accounts Monthly and quarterly preparation of payroll and benefit related journal entries
Payroll Officer Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a multilocation business environment
- Experience with Ceridian, ADP, SAP, Oracle, and Time & Labor solutions preferred
- Proficiency in Excel Analytical skills Organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills
- Strong work ethic and team player Ability to deal with sensitively with confidential material
