1. Working at the franchise restaurant of Quiznos, chefs plan food preparation and cooking activities, cook subs, salads, soups, and pizzas according to the menus and procedures of the restaurant.
2. May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and may estimate food and labour costs.
3. Operate kitchen equipments, and assist with maintenance of equipments and supplies.
4. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
5. Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
6. May train and demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to kitchen helpers.
7. May work evenings, weekends, or holidays.
8. Able to perform multi-tasking.
9. Talk to others by telephone and in-person. May write letters, and e-mail.
