Description

The Board of Education of Light of Christ Catholic Schools seeks an individual of vision and integrity who, as part of a team, will provide shared, critical leadership in support of the Boards mission and vision of Pray, Educate, Serve.  The successful candidate will provide administrative leadership in a portfolio to be determined in collaboration with the Director of Education and members of the senior administrative team. The Superintendent of Learning position will be based out of our division office.
Demonstrated successful K-12 school-based leadership, knowledge and/or formal training in special education, curriculum & instruction and educational technology will be considered an asset for this position.  Eligibility for Saskatchewan teacher certification and LEADS membership, and a Masters degree in a field related to the duties of a Superintendent are required.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills, instructional leadership ability and a broad knowledge of research on how students learn are important attributes.  The ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all education partners is required.  
Practicing Catholics will be preferred.
