Description

Wellen Boring & Drilling Ltd. is a local company specializing in drilling water wells.  Primarily we serve acreages, farms and agricultural related businesses. We have a reputation for superior service, trustworthiness and reliability you can count on.
The successful candidate will have experience driving class 3A and/or class 1A vehicles and hold a valid class 3A or 1A licence.  It will be considered a strong asset if the individual has experience operating equipment (skid-steer, excavator, tractors, or other heavy machinery).  The candidate must be a self-starter, be ready to learn the details of our business and ready to work hard.  
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class 3A drivers (or 1A) license with a clean abstract
- Experience operating heavy machinery (skid-steer, excavator, tractors, etc.) considered a strong asset
- General mechanic experience considered a strong asset
- Experience welding considered an asset
- Good health and physical condition are critical to performing various duties/jobs
- Reliability and flexibility is a necessity, must be willing to work over-time hours frequently
- Safety tickets: First Aid/CPR, Construction safety, ground disturbance, etc  would be considered an asset

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive 3A/1A trucks/trailers to and from work-site
- Work as part of core boring and drilling team on-site
- Loading and un-loading materials for mobilization to and from work-sites
- Running skid-steer and operating auxiliary equipment on trucks  ie. PTO water pumps, etc.
- Must be very good at taking instruction from supervisors
- Must be good with people and represent our business well
- The successful applicant must be willing to work in various conditions
- Show up every morning at between 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM prepared to work until the days job is complete
