Description

Pioneer Co-op is hiring a Senior Human Resources Manager at our Administration Office in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. You will be responsible for leading the Human Resources function for our retail. You will be responsible for implementing HR strategies, programs, and initiatives in the organization and providing input into the development of organizational HR strategies. You will collaborate with the leadership team to ensure consistent alignment of HR programs and practices across the organization. Two areas of focus are:

1. Talent Management: You contribute to the development and implementation of various talent management initiatives. Leading a team of human resources professionals, you are responsible for mentoring and guiding team members to ensure engagement, competency development, and professional growth.

2. Employee and Labour Relations: You are responsible for overseeing the collective bargaining process including participating in negotiations and collaborating with key stakeholders in the development and implementation of negotiation strategies that align with the businesss future direction and needs. You have current working knowledge of legislation, labour and employment law, human rights legislation, and related areas.
