Legacy Co-operative Association Ltd. invites applications for the position of Baker to join our team at our Food Store in Yorkton, SK.
Duties:
Provide legendary customer service to all customers.
Follow production schedules and recipes including measuring and mixing ingredients, shaping dough and handling breads and buns throughout the baking process
Ensure quality of products meets Legacy Co-op established standards
Bake prepared pastries based on production schedules
Work as a team while assisting bakery staff in packaging, slicing, panning and setting up product for displays.
Qualifications:
2-3 years commercial baking experience
Food Safety Certificate (willing to train)
Knowledge of the safe operation of bakery production equipment
Must be able to multi task in a very fast paced environment and have the ability to work independently with a strong sense of urgency
Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and energetic personality.
Willingness to advance knowledge through training
Physically able to do heavy lifting of 60lbs, climbing and kneeling
Willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
