The Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization-International Vaccine Centre (VIDO-InterVac) is a world leader in infectious disease research and vaccine development. With 150 interdisciplinary personnel, over $200 million in infrastructure and four decades of experience, our team seeks solutions to prevent and control human and animal infectious disease threats.
Reporting to the project leader, the research technician works independently and in the team to meet research project objectives and milestones. As a member of a busy team, the incumbent will assist in carrying out bench analyses in virology, immunology, and molecular biology, adhering to established protocols and biosafety procedures.
This is a full-time, 12 months term position with a possibility of an extension depending upon performance and availability of funds
Skill Requirements:
A technician diploma and one year of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
