Description

The Town of Hudson Bay is accepting applications for the position of Director of Public Works.

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer the Director of Public Works is a Senior Position responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Towns infrastructure, utility facilities and related equipment, along with the supervision and development of Department Staff and preparation and monitoring of the annual Public Works budget.

Preferred candidates should have training and/or experience in the areas of equipment operation and maintenance, road repair and maintenance, water and sewer line construction and maintenance, waste treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, cemetery operations and human resource management.  Certification in Water Treatment and Distribution and Wastewater Collection and Treatment will be considered an asset and the successful candidate must be willing to take and maintain training in this area.

Current starting salary is $65,657.  Salary grid, pension plan and benefit details are available on request.  Candidates interviewed may be required to provide criminal records check.
