POSITION SUMMARY:
The Municipal Project Coordinator reports to the Director of Public Works and Planning Services and works closely with the Public Works and other departments throughout the City.  The Project Coordinator primary role is to plan and manage the implementation of municipal infrastructure projects in conjunction working with Community Services, providing support for projects from the start to the finish.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge:
    3+ Years in a project coordinator or similar role with leadership experience
    Strong knowledge of preparing tenders and contracts.
    Ability to read and interpret construction and building standards; interpret legislative and code requirements.

Skills:
    Positive leadership, with the ability to delegate and handle difficult situations
    Interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a wide variety of staff and stakeholders
    Planning, time management and organizational skills are critical
    Mature judgment and self-confidence to deal with emergency situations involving personnel and the public.
    High attention to detail,
    Strong communication skills, ability to compose written technical documents.
    Customer service focused with effective negotiating skills.
